Sathya Sai Baba

Sathya Sai Baba born as Sathyanarayana Raju (23 November 1926 – 24 April 2011) was a popular Indian guru, spiritual figure and educator. He is described by his devotees as an Avatar, godman, spiritual teacher and miracle worker. The apparent materializing of vibuthi (holy ash) and small objects such as rings, necklaces and watches by Sathya Sai Baba has been a source of both fame and controversy – skeptics consider these simple conjuring tricks, while devotees consider them evidence of divinity. Sathya Sai Baba has claimed to be the reincarnation of the great spiritual guru, Sai Baba of Shirdi, whose teachings were an eclectic blend of Hindu and Muslim beliefs.
Sathya Sai Baba and his organizations support a variety of free educational institutions, hospitals, and other charitable works in India and abroad. The number of active Sathya Sai Baba adherents was estimated in 1999 to be around 6 million, although followers' estimations are far higher. Since there are no formal ties of membership, the actual figure may never be knownThe Sathya Sai Organization reports that there are an estimated 1,200 Sathya Sai Baba Centers in 114 countries worldwide. In India itself, Sai Baba draws followers from predominantly upper-middle-class, urban sections of society who have the "most wealth, education and exposure to Western ideas."A cultural icon in his home country, Sai Baba has attracted presidents and prime ministers from India and beyond who have become his devotees; in 2002, he claimed to have followers in 178 countries.

Sourav Ganguly may move to Kochi IPL team or coach Bangladesh

Every cricketer is in news after the win in ICC World Cup 2011 and with the start of IPL4 cricket is the hot topic this season. Hot news coming from the cricket grounds is that Sourav Ganguly the former Indian skipper is in demand now-a-days. Sourav Ganguly is expected to be a top choice as a batting coach for Bangladesh cricket team as well as the former Indian skipper can replace Jayewardene captain of Kochi Tuskers Kerala in IPL 4.

Heartbroken Bangladesh team after not even entering in quarter finals of World Cup 2011 is planning to change their coach. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has few options on their list for the replacement of their current Australian coach and the top names include Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly. BCB has not made an official offer to Ganguly but is expected to be among their first priority.

After the announcement that Sri Lankan Cricket Board has made a point to call back all Sri Lankan players from IPL 4 for practicing for the upcoming tour with England. If it happens on the deadline given (5th may) then Sourav Ganguly is on priority for Kochi Tuskers Kerala as a replacement for Mahila Jayewardene.

With the news when asked Sourav Ganguly about what actually will happen he said, “Let’s see, I am having my fingers crossed”. Ganguly for whom no one opted in IPL4 auctions suddenly seems to have his stars bright shining. Hoping we will again see Dada showing his skills in cricket to the nation.

List Of Universities in Sweden

The higher education system of Sweden describes the difference between Universitet (University) and Hogskola, where the former refers to "full university status" and the later refers to "college or university college with limited university status". The Universities are research-oriented and award bachelor's, master's, and doctor's degrees. whereas the latter ones usually are more focussed on applied sciences. The Hogskola have certain limitations in granting doctor's degrees and are more focussed on applied sciences.
The two oldest Universities are Uppsala University and Lund University which were founded as universities in 1477 and 1666 respectively. All the other universities in Sweden were raised from Hogskola status to University status after they had been founded.

Japan raises nuclear accident level to 7, as same as Chernobyl disaster

The Japanese government on Tuesday raised the accident level at a damaged nuclear power plant to 7, the worst on an international scale, from the current 5.
Level 7 had only been applied previously to the 1986 Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine.
The accident level was raised after the government’s Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency determined that the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station has been releasing massive amounts of radioactive materials, which are posing threats to human health and the environment over a wide area, the public broadcaster NHK reported The agency gauged the level with the International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES).
The six—reactor nuclear plant, located 250 km north-east of Tokyo was damaged in the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, which shut down its cooling systems, leading to partial meltdowns, explosions, fires and radiation releases.
The previous INES level of 5, declared in mid-March, was the same as for the 1979 accident at Three Mile Island in the United States.
'Radiation level might exceed Chernobyl'
The amount of radiation leaking from a damaged Japanese nuclear power station might exceed that of the Chernobyl disaster, Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO), the plant’s operator, said Tuesday.
If the plant continued to spew radioactive material, it would be possible that the amount might surpass that of the 1986 disaster in Ukraine, TEPCO official Junichi Matsumoto said.
At the moment, however, the radiation releases are at 10 per cent of the levels emitted from the Chernobyl plant, the government’s Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said.
